Warm walnut paneling envelops this formal Park Avenue dining room which Quinn Hannum designed with Elle Decor celebrated designer, Nannette Brown. “Working on this project with Nannette was a wonderful experience. We both share a love for luxurious materials, antiques, and old-world craftsmanship, which we reinvented to achieve a timeless, intercontinental feel.”

Custom blackened steel doors are adorned with handles welded by Italian metal-smith, Brotto. An antique chinoiserie corner bar which was originally a small antique sourced from a flea market in Paris was stretched from floor to ceiling, with the help of a talented millworker, metal worker, and painter, who replicated the Chinese motif throughout the piece. The plaster dining table was created by “The Master of Plaster” himself, Stephen Antonson. Custom cafe shades semi-conceal the extensive china collection behind. Jean Perzel lighting illuminates the space, and a plaster relief adorns the wall.

An entry cladded in marble, Venetian plaster and fluted soffits.

A vestibule wrapped in mother of pearl wall covering leads to a butler’s pantry and a moody library with dark French polished walls and gold pin-striping.

The living room features 96 intaglios framed in custom lucite boxes, as well as custom shutters, ceiling design with wood strapping, and antique lighting from the Marché Aux Puces in Paris. The master bedroom walls are upholstered in plush velvet, and a custom marble fireplace balances the room. A beautiful ensuite bathroom featuring marble cladding and a custom brass shower enclosure create the perfect ambiance to rest and unwind.
