“Designing custom furniture is particularly fulfilling to me. I love the process of developing a piece which is one-of-a-kind, and perfectly suited to the space.”

custom marble dining table
Sleek, clean, Italian inspired marble dining table for a client in Midtown…
DEMI LUNE SOFA
This demi lune sofa was designed for the Park Avenue living room. Here you can see the process from the furniture drawing, to editing the mockup in the workroom, to the final piece.
BUILT-IN RADIATOR COVERS AND SEATS
We created a streamlined design by concealing the radiators, adding storage, and creating additional seating.
This piece was a combination of an actual antique Chinese cabinet (the upper portion which we restored), and then the new addition of lower cabinets which were painted to match the original antique. This gave the clients added functionality in their formal dining room for drink service, as well as a stunning focal point.

Floating MEDIA CENTER
This floating media center features an inlaid marble top, acoustical fabric doors to hide speakers and wires, and a matte lacquer finish.
These Cesca chairs are still a work in progress but when they're finished, they'll be gorgeous in a home in Midtown. Quinn bought them for a steal, and now she's had the metal bases custom plated to match the client's existing hardware throughout the apartment, and the caning and wood seats bleached to match the clients light wood flooring and millwork.
vintage CESCA CHAIRS
These chairs started out with polished chrome bases, and honey colored cane and wood seats. They are currently a work in progress, and will be completed shortly for a home in Midtown.
TEAK CHAIRS FROM BALI
These teak chairs were weathered when Quinn discovered them in a forgotten garden in the West Village. The owner thought they would probably be trash, however, Quinn sanded them down and was able to bring them back to life. She used them in the new garden design, and they worked beautifully.
The beauty of older furniture is that it is often made of solid wood, which can be sanded down and refinished by skilled artisans.
Antique singer sewing table
This table was purchased for a client on a budget from the Chelsea Flea Market. The original brass hardware was tarnished and the table was marked, scraped and stained. Quinn polished the hardware, sanded the table and refinished it. It worked perfectly as the new lamp table for the project.

Worn antiques like this may look scary at first, but the beauty is just below the surface. Quinn grew up with a mother who had a wood shop in her basement, and as a hobby, they refinished vintage pieces together. Today, she still enjoys practicing the things her mother taught her, to benefit her clients.
